The word Sana comes from Latin and means “to heal”.

In a world where the food industry has moved the focus away from nutrition and toward profit, we are striving to find ways to help people make the healthiest, most nutritious food themselves. We receive feedback from customers worldwide, and we incorporate those ideas into our designs. We are constantly improving our products as well as trying out new ideas for future juicers. Our aim is to provide consumers with durable, high-quality products that are easy to use and maintain.
Our history
EcoHub was launched in 2008, and we began selling cold press juicers in 2012. The Oscar Juicer quickly became a favourite and has remained one of South Africa’s most trusted cold press juicers. We have proudly maintained our position as market leaders in the premium juicer category for many years.
While the Oscar Juicer is an outstanding machine, and a favourite among both customers and our team, its product range has been somewhat limited.
In March 2025, we made the strategic decision to align our branding with the European and American markets by reintroducing the Oscar Juicer to South Africa under the Sana brand name.
This means the same tried-and-tested juicer you’ve come to love is still available, now under a new name. With this transition, we also gain the international support of Sana and access to their premium accessories—including the oil extractor, celery cap, and premium juice containers—as well as new models and related health appliances.
